Tortworth Court Wedding Ceremonies

This season, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of being a wedding celebrant at Tortworth Court – and honestly, what a dream it’s been! There are some venues that feel like they were built for stories and Tortworth Court is one of them.

Tortworth Court feels both classic and timeless, while still leaving plenty of space for couples to add their own personality. That’s something I love as a celebrant – because while many couples who choose Tortworth Court Weddings are drawn to the more traditional elements of a ceremony (the exchange of rings, the vows, and the sense of heritage that goes with them), but often, they also want those all-important personal touches.

And that’s where I come in.

As a wedding celebrant here at Tortworth Court, I get to create ceremonies that are recognisable, but also really personal.

Maybe that means weaving in a couple’s story, adding humour, or finding small but meaningful ways to make the ceremony feel truly theirs.

Personal touches at Tortworth Court Weddings

So far, i’ve seen so much joy and creativity in the Tortworth Court Orangery – that completely gorgeous ceremony space that feels like the inside of Cinderella’s glass slipper!

Some of my favourite touches include:

  • A game of rock, paper, scissors to decide who reads their vows first.

  • Personal vows that couples have written themselves.

  • Secret ring bearers (always a delight when revealed!).

  • Storytelling that shares the journey of a couple!

  • Ninja-Vows between the couples

  • The cheekiest flower girl skipping and singing down the aisle (and back up again!)

The Tortworth Court team

Of course, none of this happens without the incredible team at Tortworth Court. The staff here are second to none, always going above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. A special shout-out has to go to Elvis – the legendary wedding coordinator at Tortworth Court - magic. Elvis has this amazing way of making sure everything feels seamless and stress-free, which means couples can just relax and enjoy their day.
